Welcome To Today. Everything Is Cool. Everything Is Permitted.

We are lucky to live in such truly interesting and amazing times.

Welcome to the world of infinite possibilities, where everything momentous has already happened.

Sorry. You’re too late. You just missed it.

It is likely that all the major belief systems, trends, and movements have already occurred, peaked, and ended.

What is left for us?

A cold, heartless future full of boredom and sadness?

I doubt it.

Again, we are the lucky ones.

Everyone reading this, please take a moment and imagine back in time with me.

Think back to the beginning of the world. The dawn of man. The emergence of thought. Think about the millions of years it took our ancestors to come up with the idea that ideas are powerful. Or the idea that we should have more ideas.

We, the living, are not forced to place faith in a panoply of strange religious beliefs, offbeat political movements, virgin sacrifice, constellation worship, or short-lived artistic fads unless we want to.

Many people believe these are the worst times ever. Hands down. No question about it. The world is getting worse and worse. Problems keep getting bigger and bigger.

Everything has already been done or followed or worshiped or believed or tried.

Sure, everything has been done. So, let’s get going. There is plenty of work to do.
